on to England and the war. Al was assigned to military police
"Provost"
it was called
a difficult job
but it had to be done
but big Al. was fair and square
to his fellow men
always remembering
they were all on the same team..to crush the enemy
so it would seem. Betty, his girl friend back home
kept writing letters
and feeling alone.
Big Al. came back in "46 having seen the world and all the dirty war tricks
then he married the lady who waited for him
and lived happily therafter
with a big grin
