Daddy went away and left mum, the girls, and brother for another day.
The pyramids, desert and the dust.
To fight for Britain he must.
Rally round the flag - Brittannia rule.
He did his best, and we went to school
As the years went by we worried nigh.
And then return ...
Daddy came back intact, not hurt or sore from the war.
Happy days for us to cheer.
We are now together as a family dear!
